Document Map, Page Break and Gauge supported by Aspose.Cells for Reporting Services

The latest version 1.4.2 of Aspose.Cells for Reporting Services has been released. In this release we have enhanced SSRS2008 renderer and have added support for Document Map, Page Break and Gauge. In addition to this we have introduced new MS Excel 2007 custom UI of Aspose.Cells.Report.Designer component. We have also optimized rendering performance and enhanced license function. Flash v10 tags fully supported by Aspose.Flash for .NET

Aspose.Flash for .NET version 2.1.0 has been released. In the past, users were experiencing some trouble while manipulating or parsing Flash files that included those Flash v10 tags which were not supported by Aspose.Flash. Now Aspose.Flash fully supports Flash v10 and users can easily manipulate their SWF files that are generated using Flash v8, v9, v10 or Flash Lite. The Aspose.Flash for .NET installer also includes a separate build for .NET 3.5. In addition to this, the new release also includes numerous other improvements and bug fixes. Create complex Bar charts and wrap DataPoint labels within a specific width with Aspose.Report for .NET

The latest version 1.1.0 of Aspose.Report for .NET has been released. This release supports creation of complex Bar charts by providing multiple Y values against a single X value. This release also enables users to restrict the DataPoint labels within a specific height and width in Pie and Doughnut charts to avoid the reduction in circle or donut size. The Aspose.Report for .NET installer also includes a separate build for .NET 3.5. Also included with this release are numerous improvements and bug fixes. Support for page headers and footers in the documents being exported by Aspose.Words for JasperReports

Aspose.Words for JasperReports version 1.2.0 has been released. In this release we have implemented the support of page headers and footers in the documents being exported. This basically means that there won’t be headers and footers on the body level anymore; and if you have designed it to be a header in JasperReports, expect it to be a header in the resulting Microsoft Word document. Enhanced ODS and MS Excel 2007 file format support with Aspose.Cells for Java

The latest version 2.1.0 of Aspose.Cells for Java has been released. In this release we have enhanced ODS (Open Document Spreadsheet) support and introduced several new features including Hyperlink, Page Setup options, Group outline, Conditional formatting, Data validation, AutoFilter, Page Break, PrintTitleRows/Columns, Shapes and Chart. We have also provided some features regarding MS Excel 2007 file formats such as Inserting Pictures, Adding Charts. Users can now update controls (CheckBox, ComboBox, ListBox, RadioButton, ScrollBar, Spinner) via the linked cells, and vice versa. Customize resources and get a control by InfoPath ID with Aspose.Form for .NET

Aspose.Form for .NET version 2.1.0 has been released. This release supports customization of text information displayed in the controls’ interface. This feature enables users to change the text information displayed in the “Context Menu” of a repeating table or section and the text displayed in the calendar and other controls. It also provides an API to get a control by InfoPath ID. Users will be able to execute some server side code because of this feature. The Aspose.Form for .NET installer includes a separate build for .NET 3.5. In addition to this, the new release also includes numerous other improvements and bug fixes. Configure Aspose.Workflow for .NET applications with MySQL and PostgreSQL

The latest version 2.1.0 of Aspose.Workflow for .NET has been released. This release includes complete support for MySQL and PostgreSQL databases. Customers were facing problems while configuring the Aspose.Workflow engine with these databases so, separate libraries and script files for both these databases have been included in the installer. Aspose.BarCode for JasperReports 1.0.0 Released

We are happy to announce our brand new product, Aspose.BarCode for JasperReports. Aspose.BarCode for JasperReports is built on top of Aspose.BarCode for Java, which is a renowned product for server side barcode generation on Java platform. Aspose.BarCode for JasperReports provides a unique and robust solution allowing developers to display high quality barcode labels on JasperReports. These barcode labels can be rendered in popular image formats e.g. Bmp, Jpg, Gif and Png. Aspose.BarCode for JasperReports is a very light weight component that supports more than 25 types of most popular barcode symbologies including Linear and 2D barcodes. Aspose.Words now supports Image Cropping in output to PDF, XPS, printing and images

The latest version 6.6.0 of Aspose.Words for .NET has been released. Over 100 enhancements, fixes and new features have been incorporated into this Aspose.Words for .NET release. Cropped pictures (including metafiles) are now correctly output to PDF, XPS and rendering to images. In addition to this improvements have also been made to tables, table styles and themes when output to PDF, XPS and rendering. Render DOC, OOXML, ODT, RTF and HTML documents in Silverlight using components from Aspose and First Floor Software

Document Toolkit is a product of First Floor Software and provides a fast and feature-rich XPS document viewer library for Silverlight. In order to render Word documents in Silverlight, Document Toolkit requires the document to be converted to the XPS format first. Aspose.Words for .NET is a document processing library by Aspose and provides document conversion to the XPS format. Aspose.Words supports all modern Word documents formats available today including Word 97-2003, Word 2007, WordML and OOXML. Conversion of OpenDocument (ODT), Rich Text Format (RTF) and HTML documents is supported as well. Aspose.Words for .NET and Document Toolkit for Silverlight together provide an easy, powerful and seamless document viewing experience in Silverlight. Performance optimization for Aspose.Pdf for .NET

Aspose.Pdf for .NET version 4.1.0 has been released. In this release we have made significant improvement in performance and memory efficiency. Namely, it works faster and consumes lower memory now, especially when processing large tables. In our test, the performance for normal XML2PDF is improved by 60% on average and the performance for Word2PDF is improved by 30% on average. Save any Document from Microsoft Word 2007 to EPUB with Aspose.Words for Microsoft Word

Tutorial Video – Convert Excel File to PDF

In this video, we will use Aspose.Cells for .NET to convert an excel file to PDF format. We create a simple Windows application to demonstrate this task. We load / open an excel file, and then convert it to PDF format. The generated PDF file can be opened into Adobe Reader. You can view the video here.
