We are pleased to announce that Aspose.OCR for Java 17.6 is now available for public use. This release includes improvements to make OCR operation more fast and robust. OCR process classifiers have been introduced. character splitting mechanism has been improved. Furthermore, the Implementation of the OCR engine has been upgraded by reducing the neural network calls.
Enhancements
The following enhancements have been introduced in this release.
- Logic for setting up the spaces between the words has been improved.
- Characters splitting mechanism has been improved. An improvement has been made in connecting the outlines splitter for recognizer.
As all the enhancements are internal to the API, so there are no public API changes from end user’s point of view and the features can be used readily with this new version. Please review the release notes of Aspose.OCR for Java 17.6 for a complete view of new features.
