Second release of merged Aspose.Pdf for .NET has been published. In Aspose.Pdf for .NET 6.1.0, we have introduced some new features and fixed a couple of issues. We have also improved various aspects of the component in this release. We encourage you to use this latest version, so you would be able to get all the benefits due to these improvements. Export MS Visio Diagrams to XPS or PDF/A Formats in C#

Aspose.Diagram for .NET 1.4.0 has been released. This release supports ‘Export to XPS’ feature and allows you to export MS Visio diagrams to XPS format. PDF rendering has also been improved in this release and different security, compression, compliance and digital signing features have been included. Now you can render MS Visio diagrams as PDF/A15, PDF/A1a and PDF/A1b. You can also change security and compression settings when rendering diagrams to image or PDF.

Specify access privileges, text rotation, text and rectangle alignment support

We are very much excited to announce the release of another version of Aspose.Pdf for JasperReports. This new version provides some new exciting features including specification of access privileges over resultant PDF (setting user and owner password, restrict printing, restrict copying of data and much more). We have also added the support for a Rotation parameter for TextElement, so you can either use Left or Right value. This new version gives you the leverage to specify text and rectangle alignment information and they are properly honored during PDF generation.

Get Font List from PDF using Java

We have released Aspose.Pdf.Kit for Java 3.9.0. In this version, we have introduced a new feature to get a list of all the fonts available in the PDF file. The PdfExtractor class now supports this feature. You may find a working example in the following help topic: Get List of the Fonts from the PDF File. We released merged Aspose.Pdf for .NET last week. I have already discussed that how we have improved the ‘PDF Engine’ to provide better results, along with introducing the DOM API for processing PDF files. In this post, I’m going to share that how we have improved the documentation. Starting Point The documentation is mainly divided into four sections: Product Information, Programmer’s Guide, Knowledge Base, and Aspose.Pdf for .NET API Reference. The product information section contains getting started guide as usual, including product overview, installation and licensing information.
