Save Excel files in LightCells mode and other enhancements in Aspose.Cells for Java 7.0.3

We have released Aspose.Cells for Java 7.0.3. This version comes with some important enhancements. You can now save XLS and XLSX files in Light Cells mode using LightCellsDataProvider. This gives you better performance for bigger files. We have improved the Excel-to-PDF conversion feature. Follow the link to read about the updated feature in the documentation. One of our users reported a clash between Aspose.Cells for Java and other JARs that they were using (specifically woodstoxs-core and webservices-rt).

Utilize Smart Markers Grouping and Sorting Data Features, Support for JDK1.7 and LightCells APIs Included in Aspose.Cells for Java 7.0.2

We are happy to release Aspose.Cells for Java v7.0.2. We have made several enhancements, including improvements to the Sheet-to-Image and Excel-to-PDF features. We have also fixed number of user issues. In this version, we provide support for group and sort data in Smart Markers feature. This feature was one that our users wanted to see and adding support for it means that the Java and .NET versions of Aspose.Cells are more in line with each other.

Utilize Smart Markers Grouping Data Feature and Access Document Properties of an Encrypted File using Aspose.Cells for .NET 7.0.2

We are happy to release Aspose.Cells for .NET v7.0.2. We have made several enhancements and fixed a number of user issues/bugs. Moreover, we have removed some obsolete methods for the Sheet-to-Image feature. In this version, you can get the document properties for an encrypted XLS file without even knowing its password. We have made enhancements for Smart Markers feature: now you can group data in some complex scenarios where you also need to place dynamic rows for Sub-Totals, Totals and Grand Totals in between the sections of data.

Aspose.Cells for Java 7.0.0 released

This product has almost the same features/APIs as Aspose.Cells for .NET. Format Pivot Tables and Utilize Advanced Auto-Filter Options using Aspose.Cells for Java 2.5.4

We have released the Aspose.Cells for Java v2.5.4. In this version, we have added support for several advanced auto-filter types: MultipleFilter, DynamicFilter and IconFilter. Now, you can easily format a whole pivot table, toggle a pivot field’s items between hidden/shown. Moreover, you can specify axis’ properties as “Automatic” for Charts.
