Introduction to the Aspose.Slides for Java 3.0.0 API

In my previous post, I announced a new release of Aspose.Slides for Java 3.0.0 and briefly touched on some of the new features in the API. This post elaborates on some of the new features and changes in Aspose.Slides for Java 3.0.0. API versions prior to Aspose.Slides for Java 3.0.0 were developed in parallel with Aspose.Slides for .NET. So the API’s were different in terms of functionality. Add Quotes for Empty Cells in CSV and Retrieve Shared Common Style using Aspose.Cells for Java 7.3.3

We enhanced the feature for adding double quotes for the cell values in CSV file in such a way that you may add quotes to even empty cells if you need to. Better XML to PDF conversion and improved image transformation engine in Aspose.Pdf for Java 3.3

We are pleased to announce the release of Aspose.Pdf for Java 3.3.0 which provides a better and enhanced XML to PDF conversion feature. In this release, the image transformation engine has been rewritten and is based on ImageIO. The main benefit of the new engine is better support for different image formats and from now on, Aspose.Pdf for Java should work faster due to optimised operations with images. Besides this, we also have resolved the issues related to image to PDF conversion and XML transformation to PDF format.

Stable PDF to Image Conversion in Java with Aspose.PDF for Java 4.4

Copy sparklines between workbooks, set tab color and other enhancements in Aspose.Cells for Java 7.3.2

Users can now set the default color of the worksheet tab. Moreover, several important customer issues have been rectified. Many important issues with reading and writing Microsoft Excel files, manipulating charts and exporting to PDF have been resolved in this release. We have also made an enhancement, so that you can close internal streams to release memory resources in PDF conversion and boost performance.

Parse Headers and Footers in Excel using Java

We are pleased to announce the release of Aspose.Cells for Java 7.3.1. In this release, you can parse headers and footers to get strings for different sections. We have also made some valuable enhancements regarding Microsoft Excel 2007/2010’s advanced conditional formatting file formats types that were not supported in the product. Moreover, Microsoft Excel 2010’s advanced data validation is now supported. We have also supported data filters in Pivot Tables.
