Important fixes to cell formatting, rendering PivotTables and charts in Aspose.Cells for Java 7.4.3

We are pleased to announce the release of Aspose.Cells for Java 7.4.3. This hotfix is a maintenance release that contains fixes regarding issues reported in earlier versions. In the new release, several important issues have been addressed. For example, issues around formatting cells, rendering PivotTables and charts, rendering Microsoft Excel files and rendering image files from charts/worksheets have been resolved. Issues pertaining to the formula calculation engine have also been fixed.

Auto-fit Rows or Columns in Excel Worksheets in C# using Aspose.Cells for .NET 7.4.3

Aspose.Cells for .NET 7.4.3 has been released. This month’s release includes an enhancement for copying a cell over a range of cells. We have added a new overload: AutoFitColumns(int firstRow, int firstColumn, int lastRow, int lastColumn, AutoFitterOptions options), so you can use auto-fitting options even in a range. Similarly, you may now copy tables when copying ranges. We have also made enhancement regarding the Smart Markers’s Group Data feature. We have fixed a few exceptions when reading and writing Excel files and resolved an issue on Mono for the exception “Unknown Heap Type: SmartAssembly”.

Improvments to Copying Ranges Between Workbooks and Parsing HTML Strings in Aspose.Cells for .NET 7.4.2

Set Chart Side Wall Borders and Assign and Validate Digital Signatures with Aspose.Cells for Java 7.4.1

Set Custom Encoding in Excel to HTML using Java

Aspose.Cells for Java 7.4.0 has been released. This month’s release supports specifying a custom encoding type when saving to HTML. Since our Java version is auto-ported from .NET, almost every feature and enhancement that is included in the new .NET version are duplicated in the corresponding Java version. Enhancements to rendering advanced conditional formatting and Page Layout view in Aspose.Cells for .NET 7.4.0

Aspose.Cells for .NET 7.4.0 has been released. This month’s release includes an enhancement for advanced conditional formatting when converting worksheet to image files. We have also made an enhancement to the Microsoft Excel ruler which is not displayed when setting Page Layout view. We have improved the performance of Excel to PDF rendering, sometimes the process hanged a bit for certain Excel files. In this release, several important issues have been addressed.

Search in Documents and Get the Aspose.Cells for SharePoint Toolbar with Aspose.Cells for SharePoint 3.0.1

Sparklines and Display Right-to-Left (RTL) Languages in Excel to PDF using Java

Aspose.Cells for Java 7.3.5 has been released. This month’s release supports rendering sparklines and displaying RTL (right-to-left) languages in generated PDF files (Excel to PDF conversion). We have added more methods (for example Validation.getValue1() and Validation.getValue2()) to obtain DateTime values for custom needs. Moreover, we have enhanced the performance of PDF rendering by providing the valuable PdfSaveOptions.CheckFontCompatibility option; the conditional formatting feature is also improved. This release is also a maintenance release where several important issues have been fixed.

PowerPivot Feature, Read PivotTables in XLSB Files and Formula Calculation Engine Improved in Aspose.Cells for .NET 7.3.5

Aspose.Cells for .NET 7.3.5 has been released. This month’s release includes support for Microsoft Excel 2010’s PowerPivot feature: you can now read PivotTables in XLSB files. We have enhanced the Aspose.Cells’ formula calculation engine, so you can skip formulas whose external links do not exist in the template file. A number of bug fixes are also included in this release along with improved calculation of chart objects in template files.
