Specify access privileges, text rotation, text and rectangle alignment support

We are very much excited to announce the release of another version of Aspose.Pdf for JasperReports. This new version provides some new exciting features including specification of access privileges over resultant PDF (setting user and owner password, restrict printing, restrict copying of data and much more). We have also added the support for a Rotation parameter for TextElement, so you can either use Left or Right value. This new version gives you the leverage to specify text and rectangle alignment information and they are properly honored during PDF generation.

SmartArt rendering and improved charts support included in Aspose.Slides

We feel happy to announce the news of release of Aspose.Slides for .NET 5.3.0. This is one of major product release that has included the maiden support for SmartArt rendering. Another great thing about this product is that Aspose.Slides for .NET is no longer dependent on Aspose.Cells for .NET for rendering charts. The chart support has been completely rewritten and sample codes can be found in the documentation. The missing support for scattered charts with multiple series and markers support for chart series has also been included in this new release.

Get Font List from PDF using Java

We have released Aspose.Pdf.Kit for Java 3.9.0. In this version, we have introduced a new feature to get a list of all the fonts available in the PDF file. The PdfExtractor class now supports this feature. You may find a working example in the following help topic: Get List of the Fonts from the PDF File. We have also improved the features related to PDF to JPEG and TIFF conversion, form filling, fonts, and text rendering.

I have already discussed that how we have improved the ‘PDF Engine’ to provide better results, along with introducing the DOM API for processing PDF files. In this post, I’m going to share that how we have improved the documentation. Starting Point The documentation is mainly divided into four sections: Product Information, Programmer’s Guide, Knowledge Base, and Aspose.Pdf for .NET API Reference. The product information section contains getting started guide as usual, including product overview, installation and licensing information.

Open Another User''s Mailbox on Exchange Server using C#

Floating Tables to PDF are supported in Aspose.Words 10.2

We just have made available our next monthly release that delivers Aspose.Words for .NET 10.2 and Aspose.Words for Java 10.2 again, with the same set of features and fixes in both products. One of the great new features delivered is the correct layout of floating tables when converting documents to PDF and XPS. Earlier versions laid out floating tables as inline and that was causing problems to many customers.

Aspose.Email for Java Getting Rich in Features

Aspose.Email for Java was first released in July 2010 with Microsoft MSG file format support. It’s been a year and we are continuously working on adding new features in it to make it more closer to the Aspose.Network for .NET. Recently, we released Aspose.Network for Java 2.1, which can now handle EML, MSG and MHTML files. You can create new message, load existing message, do changes and save to disk, convert from one format to another, read attachments etc.
